Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

Lakefront Estates (LFE) is fortunate to be located in an area of great natural beauty. The terrain, water features, and beautiful trees combine to create an aura of tranquility. The LFE ACC is comprised of volunteer community members whose role is to: ensure the covenants and restrictions (C&Rs) for LFE are implemented consistently, enhance the appearance the LFE, protect property values, and increase the enjoyment of living in the community for all.

The overall philosophy is to protect this unique setting and to assure that the homes in LFE add to the beauty and quality of the community. Everyone is happy that you’re here, and we know you are excited to make the most of your home/lot. The ACC community members are looking forward to working with you as you design your beautiful dream home and landscaping! Whether you’re building a new home, remodeling an existing home and/or dock, changing your landscaping, or building a new dock, we’re here to help you navigate the process and design your property in accordance with the C&Rs.  Understanding the requirements in the C&Rs will help to expedite your design and approval process, and it will save you time and money by eliminating the need to redesign items that do not meet the C&Rs. To further help in this area, the ACC has created a building package (attached) that contains the checklists used to apply for your LFE building permit, review/approve design plans and landscaping plans, dock plans, builder approval, etc.
